Plot Introduction of Love on Hold
This is a love story triggered by a mobile phone love letter. In the Oriental metropolis of Shanghai, Lu Yunfei, who has returned from studying in the U.S., decides to develop his career in advertising. For over a year, he has been constantly missing his lover Sophie, who broke up with him for no apparent reason. Calls were not answered and text messages were ignored, leaving Lu Yunfei with unresolved questions. While continuously sending sorrowful texts, one day, they are accidentally received by Mu Beibei living in a small town in Yunnan due to her recycled phone number. The sincerity and persistence of the sender make her start an online exchange under the pseudonym "Red Bean Sister." From then on, these two unseen soulmates, separated by thousands of miles at first and later brought closer by fate, experience numerous reunions and separations without realizing that the other is their cherished online confidant.
