Introduction to the full plot of "I Am a Blade of Grass":
Unlike many dreamy girls, Xiaocao has no vanity or extravagance. She just wants to change her fate through her own efforts bit by bit. So she drives a taxi day and night to support her boyfriend Yue Feng through university. Unexpectedly, Yue Feng has a new love interest outside and comes back to break up with Xiaocao. Just as he is about to speak, he suddenly collapses. Without regard for the kind-hearted advice of Yue's mother or the earnest warnings of her family, Xiaocao resolutely decides to marry Yue Feng, whose life hangs in the balance. From then on, Xiaocao and Yue's mother rely on each other for support, devoting all their energy to taking care of the man they both love.
Years pass, and Xiaocao accidentally discovers a secret: her husband does not love her; he loves another woman. After enduring so much hardship for so many years, it turns out to be for someone who doesn't love her. Yue's mother kneels down to apologize on behalf of her son, and Xiaocao is nearly broken. Yue Feng passes away, leaving behind deep repentance for his wife as he removes his own life support tube!
