Introduction to the plot of Howl's Moving Castle:

This is a world where magic and science coexist. In a country on the brink of war, there lives an 18-year-old girl named Sophie who is plain-looking but skillful with her hands. She works in the hat shop left by her deceased father. One day, Sophie encounters a handsome young man on the street; he is none other than the infamous wizard Howl, and Sophie truly falls in love with him. That night, the Witch of the Waste suddenly appears at Sophie's house and casts a curse on her, turning her into a 90-year-old grandmother. Sophie leaves home and, by chance, enters Howl's moving castle, where she works as a maid. Through daily interactions with Howl, Sophie gradually comes to understand the hidden inner world of this wizard, and Howl, under Sophie's influence, begins to change. War eventually breaks out, and Howl joins the fight. Unable to contain her worries, Sophie sets off in the castle on an adventure to find Howl.
