"Two Wives" tells a series of stories about a man who lost his memory due to a traffic accident and the relationship between him, his ex-wife, and his current fiancée.
Soo Ae plays Han Ji-sook, an unmarried mother who runs a high-end wine shop and a flower shop on her own. Ji-sook, whose character is between calmness and passion, fell in love with her boyfriend during her studies in the United States and had a child. However, she returned to Korea alone with her child without marrying her boyfriend. Although her family introduced many men to Ji-sook, these men all requested a large amount of alimony if they were to divorce in the future. Ji-sook, who was already completely disappointed in men and decided to live alone, met Kang Cheol-soo (Kim Ho-jin), a romantic writer who doesn't care about money, and fell in love with him. Cheol-soo, who lives as a full-time writer without a representative work, only earns money by working part-time as a lecturer at the university and writing miscellaneous articles. Naturally, the financial power of the household is controlled by his wife, Yoon Young-hi. After being married for ten years, Cheol-soo gradually became estranged from his wife, who he felt only cared about money. Cheol-soo participated in an internet "borrowed husband" activity for novel material research and met Ji-sook, an unmarried mother, and developed feelings for her.
