Bleach Plot Introduction:
At the very start, Kurosaki Ichigo was just a seemingly thin but fiery violent teenager, with the ability to see ghosts, living an ordinary life. His family ran a hospital and also dealt with spirits; there were his two absolutely normal sisters and their father, who had a violent household rule that he must return home by seven o'clock or face physical punishment. The noisy father-son relationship, along with the understanding sisters, formed a common life not much different from other regular comic protagonists. It wasn't until Rukia was kicked into the corner by him, looking at him full of doubt and asking "Can you see me?" that the curtain was officially kicked open.
From then on, everything around Kurosaki Ichigo turned upside down, as it should be.
In this world, there are two kinds of souls. One is called "Pluses," which are ordinary spirits. The other is "Hollows," evil spirits that attack and devour the souls of both living and dead people regardless.
Rukia, claiming to be a Shinigami (Death God), told him her job was to perform soul burials for Pluses and guide them to a place called the Soul Society, while eliminating Hollows. When a Hollow was nearby, with his father mysteriously severely injured and his sister unconscious before his eyes, Kurosaki Ichigo's heart raced with panic and chaos. He possessed an exaggerated ability to unlock the Shinigami's Kidou (spirit magic) on his own, surprising Rukia with her astonished gaze. For both him and her, everything was so unimaginable. He had never thought that Death Gods actually existed in the world, and she had never seen or even heard of such a powerful human being.
Under no other choice, Ichigo received Rukia's abilities and became a Shinigami. The black clothing belonging to a Death God, the Zanpakuto (sword) whose form changed and grew larger due to his spiritual power, and the monstrous Hollows - from this point onward, the destinies of these two people were tightly linked together. Everything similarly left no room for choice...
