Businessman Black Warrior Mai Ti-shuang (Huang Zihua) drove his mentor to suicide and then quietly exited the business world. But when he learned that his mentor's wife, Ms. She Mo-lian (Li Qi-hong), was heavily in debt as a result, he decided to sell "bridges" to businessman Mr. Tang Ji (Xu Shaohong) to earn money to pay off Ms. She’s debts. However, due to his stubborn personality, he refused to become an ordinary office worker, which led to unstable income. Day and night, he was relentlessly pursued by debt collector Lin Miao-miao (Charmaine Sheh). The two constantly schemed against each other, one chasing and the other fleeing, gradually becoming a pair of star-crossed lovers. Until Ti-shuang met his half-brother An Zu-lian (Adam Tin-hwa Tse), which triggered painful memories of being abandoned by his mother as a child. Suddenly changing character, Ti-shuang began a ruthless killing spree targeting the An family, leaving even the usually cunning Miao-miao at a loss, unable to understand what Ti-shuang was truly up to.
