Black warrior in the business world, Matti Cheung (played by Huang Zi Hua), caused his mentor to commit suicide and thus left the business world in gloom. However, he learned that his mentor's wife, Yao Mu Lian (played by Michelle Li), was now heavily in debt. Therefore, he earned money by selling "bridges" to businessman Tang Ji (played by Sammo Hung) to pay off Mu Lian's debts. But because of his stubborn personality, he refused to be an office worker, leading to unstable income. Day and night, he was relentlessly pursued by debt collector Lin Miao Miao (played by Charmaine Sheh). The two were always scheming against each other, one chasing and the other fleeing, thus forming a pair of happy enemies. Until Cheung encounters his half-brother An Zu Lian (played by Sean Toy Ho), which triggers the painful memories of being abandoned by his mother as a child. Suddenly, his character changes drastically, and he begins a killing spree targeting the An family. Even Miao Miao, usually full of strategies, is at a loss, unable to figure out what Cheung is up to.
