Mai Ti Shuang has always been business-savvy and understands the principle that doing business leads to success. He studied hard and completed his MBA at Stanford University in the US through sheer effort. After graduation, he saw potential in He Wentian’s company and proactively offered his services. He Wentian appreciated his uniqueness and allowed him to join as a partner. They had a close relationship, both teacher and friend, working seamlessly together to acquire companies and sell them off, becoming famous snipers in the American business world. Later, Ti Shuang became known as the Black Knight in the business world, ruthless and merciless, gradually expanding his influence. However, his opinions increasingly diverged from He Wentian. There, he encountered Tang Ji, who was troubled by hotel management issues. Tang Ji is a middle-aged playboy from a business family, notorious outside but filial to his father, surrounded by beauties. Coincidentally, Ti Shuang met Lin Miaomiao at a luxury store, and thus they became rivals. Miaomiao is a crazy shopping enthusiast, owing large credit card debts, forcing her to become a debt collector. With the spirit of no success, no fee, she became the ace of the debt collection company. Mo Lian owed Miaomiao's finance company a large sum due to her grandmother Zhou Xiaoqiao being scammed. Miaomiao was responsible for collecting the debt and thus met Ti Shuang again. Ti Shuang found Mo Lian's family and took on Mo Lian's debt, leading Miaomiao to mistakenly believe Ti Shuang was Mo Lian's ex-husband who abandoned his wife and child, leaving a bad impression. Mo Lian was unaware that her husband's death was indirectly caused by Ti Shuang and still believed her husband He Wentian was alive. Mo Lian's grandmother even accused Ti Shuang of being the murderer of her son He Wentian. Initially shocked by the truth being discovered by Mo Lian, later it was found that the grandmother suffered from early-stage dementia, and everyone thought her words were insane and unworthy of belief.
Ti Shuang is a regular customer at Qi's Noodle Shop. Seeing Mo Lian's difficulties, he introduced her to work at Qi's Noodle Shop. Mo Lian grew up in the US, straightforward and uncompromising, but worked hard and enthusiastically at Qi's Noodle Shop, bringing new energy, earning praise from Zhongqi. As the noodle shop's CEO, Mo Lian teamed up with Miaomiao to negotiate with the Bo De Group. With Ti Shuang secretly helping, Tang Ji gained autonomy for the first time, allowing Qi's Noodle Shop to overcome the crisis and achieving a win-win situation for both parties. Since then, Miaomiao firmly believed Ti Shuang was a business genius and decided to learn business from him, hoping to escape poverty. Miaomiao constantly followed Ti Shuang around. Although Ti Shuang didn't verbally agree, he secretly taught Miaomiao business principles. Unexpectedly, on her business journey, Miaomiao reunited with her ex-boyfriend Tong Yiben.
Mo Lian was forced to send Xiaoqiao to a nursing home due to work. To comfort Xiaoqiao, Ti Shuang also requested to stay there. Unknowingly, the nursing home was set up by Tang Ji for his girlfriend, facing operational difficulties. Tang Ji encountered Ti Shuang and Miaomiao while secretly meeting his girlfriend at the nursing home. Knowing Ti Shuang's capabilities, Tang Ji hoped Ti Shuang could solve the nursing home's problems. Miaomiao relentlessly pursued learning business strategies from Ti Shuang. After this battle, the master-apprentice relationship between Ti Shuang and Miaomiao significantly strengthened. Miaomiao realized she was gradually developing feelings for Ti Shuang, but he ignored her. Miaomiao thought Ti Shuang was a deep-feeling man with unresolved ties to a woman, later discovering it was Ti Shuang's mother Qingqing. Ti Shuang transferred his maternal affection to Miaomiao, and she tried her best to resolve it. But seeing Ti Shuang still refusing to accept her, she determined to strengthen herself, vowing to make Ti Shuang look at her differently and thereby gain the love of the man she loved.
