Synopsis of Korean Drama Style Episode 08: SBS's new weekend drama "Style" is adapted from the eponymous novel by writer Baek Young-ok, who won the Fourth World Literature Award. It tells a story of events and love that occur in a fashion magazine company. Even though it is a weekend drama, the use of materials commonly found in miniseries such as fashion, cooking, and magazines gives a refreshing feel. In the drama, Kim Hye-soo will play the Korean version of "The Devil Wears Prada" — a perfection-seeking fashion magazine editor-in-chief. Lee Ji-ya will portray Lee Si-jung, an assistant at the fashion magazine company — a rookie journalist, who plays opposite to Ryu Si-won’s character, a full-time surgeon and restaurant chef named Seo Woo-jin. The role of photographer Kim Min-jun, who has an emotional entanglement with Lee Si-jung within the magazine company, is confirmed to be played by Lee Yong-woo, known as "Yoon Eun-hye's man." Regarding the production intent of the work, the production company stated: "Set against the backdrop of a big city where materialism and consumerism reign supreme, this drama vividly yet lightly portrays the passion, troubles, and love of young people living in modern times." Since people are usually very interested in fashion, and the original novel itself is quite interesting, it is highly anticipated.
