Synopsis of "Drug Busters":

On the border, a promising operation to capture drug traffickers unexpectedly fails, resulting in the sacrifice of an undercover police officer named Da Fa. Before his death, Da Fa sends back intelligence indicating that the overseas Blue Flower Syndicate is using the Chinese border as a channel to carry out the largest heroin transaction in Asian history.

Director Fang Guoan of the Luoshan Public Security Bureau takes this intelligence very seriously and plans new strategies accordingly. However, more and more evidence points to Deputy Captain Ye Chunsheng of the Anti-Drug Team as the mole planted by the drug dealers. Faced with undeniable evidence, Fang Guoan orders the secret arrest of Ye Chunsheng. Realizing that his plot has been exposed, Ye Chunsheng hastily escapes, breaking through multiple layers of police blockade, rescuing the drug dealer known as 'Little Cannon', and fleeing across the border.

After the scandal involving Ye Chunsheng, the Luoshan Public Security Bureau faces heavy criticism. Unable to bear the blame, Ye Chunsheng's wife Du Xiaomei and son Ye Mingliang cannot continue living in humiliation locally and are forced to move to the provincial capital Yundu to make a hard living. Wang Jianjun, a stubborn colleague, refuses to believe that Ye Chunsheng is the mole and is unwilling to see the suffering of the kind-hearted Du Xiaomei and her children. He persists in his own views during confinement, violates discipline, and is expelled from the police force. Despite handing over his uniform and badge in pain, Wang Jianjun vows to uncover the true mole as a citizen.

Under the direct command of the Provincial Department, after long-term planning, the Luoshan police have already obtained some information about the drug trafficking channels. However, Ye Chunsheng's escape renders this intelligence useless, allowing the drug dealers' conspiracy to succeed. The Provincial Department leadership dispatches anti-drug bureau member Du Manli to oversee the investigation and personally directs the battle. It is decided that Chen Haodong will be sent undercover from the Armed Police Force, using the already acquired intelligence to impersonate someone else, trace the source, quickly find the drugs and the drug lord, and completely eliminate the entire drug trafficking network.
