Introduction of "Trickster B":
Picking up from the previous season, DIE, under the leadership of Long, solves many bizarre cases and eventually gets to be "honorably dissolved". Apart from Crystal taking a temporary maternity leave and Sir Fee retiring back to his hometown in Scotland, the rest of the team returns to their previous workplaces. However, their quirky personalities and styles remain unchanged, continuing to give headaches to their superiors and being excluded at work.
During a large official event, the former members of DIE gather on-site for various reasons to carry out tasks. Crystal, who happens to be passing by with her baby, instinctively captures her arch-nemesis Big Mouth Ying who is committing illegal activities nearby, accidentally intruding into a restricted area. This causes a chain reaction, leading to everyone making a mess and embarrassing the top cop on the spot... The top cop blames them, prompting the high-level police meeting. To get rid of troublesome subordinates again, Luo Youheng, Long's immediate superior, proactively suggests re-establishing DIE, concentrating this group of troublemakers who can't be fired together, leaving them to fend for themselves. But since the original DIE supervisor Sir Fee has retired, Heng is forced onto the stage, compelled to take on the important task of supervising DIE.
Crystal learns about the reformation of DIE and becomes very eager to end her maternity leave and return to work. However, due to Long's patriarchal mindset, he uses some small tricks to make Crystal agree to take a year off and become a full-time mom, taking good care of the baby.
