Introduction to the plot of "The Middle Chapter of Crossing the Northeast":
"Crossing the Northeast 2" is still written by the famous screenwriter Gao Manchang. However, the director has changed to Hou Yong, a film director with a grand visual style. Different from the male perspective in "Crossing the Northeast", the TV series "Crossing the Northeast 2" tells the story of women crossing the Northeast. The three Song sisters will become the central characters of the entire series. The second sister is played by Miao Pu, and the most beautiful younger sister is played by Dong Xuan. On the male lead side, there are Pu Cunxin and Liu Peiqi.
Pu Cunxin plays an undercover party member who appears half the time in disguise, such as a scissors sharpener or a shoemaker. "Pu Cunxin and Li Youbin are two different roles. "The Middle Chapter of Crossing the Northeast" officially started filming on August 28th in the Engger Grassland of Zhalute Banner, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia. Recently, the production team is busy shooting in various locations including the Engger Grassland, with a shooting period of 25 days.

From its start on August last year until now, "Crossing the Northeast 2" has moved through six major scenes over 144 days, finally completing all the shoots just one day before the Spring Festival of 2009 in the auspicious snow of Shenyang. The final scene was left for Dong Xuan and Yu Yang. Dong Xuan told reporters: "The first scene was me running in the fields with my elder sister, and I didn't expect that the last scene would also be mine."
The final scene was filmed amidst heavy snowfall at the Zhang Zuolin's former residence in Shenyang, telling the story of Dong Xuan's character, the third sister Song Tianyue, whose husband Zhou Heguang became the deputy director of the Shenyang Public Security Bureau and encountered disputes with Russians while selecting properties... Director Hou Yong is a perfectionist, often requiring a single scene to be shot dozens of times. Dong Xuan, wearing a cheongsam, shivered in the cold snow because the camera couldn't capture her shoes, so she wore a pair of warm snow boots, making it slightly warmer. Anticipating standing in the snow for a long time, Dong Xuan had previously placed heat pads on her feet to temporarily resist the cold.
For the last artist to finish shooting, Dong Xuan expressed that despite the hardships and fatigue, she went through them all. Over the 144 days, there were many unforgettable stories and colleagues in the crew, and she also met hardworking opponents like Miao Pu and the most charitable Pu Cunxin. But her biggest feeling is finally being able to call her parents and grandmother to say she can definitely go home for the New Year. "Saying 'going home for the New Year' turned out to be much harder than expected. Every day on set, we encounter many unexpected situations. One might say these four words are more like my last line of dialogue in this play. After saying it, I realized that 144 days had really passed."
