Introduction to the plot of Two Wives:
"Two Wives" tells a series of stories about a man who lost his memory due to a traffic accident and the relationship between his ex-wife and current fiancée.
Son Tae-young plays Han Ji-suk, an unmarried mother who independently runs a high-end wine shop and flower shop. Ji-suk, whose character lies between calmness and passion, fell in love with her boyfriend while studying in the U.S. and had a child. However, she returned to Korea alone with her child without marrying her boyfriend. Although her family introduced her to many men, these men all demanded a large divorce settlement if they were to divorce in the future. Having already lost faith in men and decided to live alone, Ji-suk meets Kang Cheol-soo (played by Kim Ho-jun) and falls in love with this romantic writer who doesn't care about money at all. Cheol-soo is a struggling writer who lives as a full-time writer, has no major works, and only earns money by working part-time as a lecturer at the university and writing miscellaneous articles. Naturally, the financial power in the house is controlled by his wife, Yoon Young-hee. After ten years of marriage, Cheol-soo gradually distances himself from his wife, feeling that she only cares about money. Cheol-soo, participating in an online "borrowed husband" activity for novel research, meets unmarried mother Ji-suk and develops feelings for her. After divorcing his wife, Cheol-soo begins a new romance with Ji-suk and they plan to get married. Unfortunately, Cheol-soo suffers a serious injury in a traffic accident before the wedding, falls into a coma for a month, and awakens with amnesia. The amnesiac Cheol-soo only remembers his ex-wife Yoon Young-hee (played by Kim Ji-young), but forgets his current girlfriend Han Ji-suk. The sudden car accident puts the three of them in an awkward and complicated situation. Yoon Young-hee's younger brother Yoon Nam-jun (played by Andy), who is unemployed and aimless, appears polished on the outside but is actually a troublemaker. He will engage in a romance with Zhao Mei-mei played by Li You-zheng.
