Gulingjingtu B Plot Introduction:

Continuing from the previous series, DIE under Lang's leadership repeatedly solves bizarre cases and ultimately gets "honorably disbanded." Apart from Jingjing taking maternity leave temporarily and Fee Sir retiring back to his hometown in Scotland, the rest of the team returns to their previous workplaces. However, their quirky personalities and styles remain unchanged, continuing to give headaches to their superiors and being excluded at work!

During a large official event, the former members of DIE gather on-site for various reasons to carry out tasks. Coincidentally, Jing, who is passing by with her baby, instinctively captures her archenemy Daikouying committing illegal activities and mistakenly enters a restricted area, causing a chain reaction. The group becomes flustered, making the top cop look bad on the spot... The blame falls on the police high command, who convenes an emergency meeting. Luo Youheng, Lang's immediate superior, proposes reassembling DIE in order to get rid of these troublesome subordinates again. This group of troublemakers, who cannot be easily fired, are gathered once more, left to sink or swim. Since Fee Sir, the original head of DIE, has retired, Heng is forced to take on the responsibility of leading DIE.

Upon hearing about the reformation of DIE, Jing becomes very eager and requests to end her maternity leave early and return to work. However, Lang, exhibiting a chauvinistic attitude, uses small tricks to persuade Jing to take a year-long break and become a full-time mother to take care of the baby. Later, when Lang's tricks are discovered by Jing, she refuses to be manipulated by Lang and decides to apply for reinstatement herself. Jing rejoins the Major Case Unit and collaborates with newly arrived high achievers. Their contrasting characters and styles clash like Mars colliding with Earth. Additionally, since Jing had previously offended the top cop, her superiors fear that she might drag down the Major Case Unit. They find an excuse to transfer Jing back to DIE. Returning to DIE, Jing entrusts her baby to family members for temporary care. However, this leads to differing opinions between Jing's mother and grandmother regarding the baby’s care, resulting in constant arguments day and night. To avoid a family feud, Jing's father orders her to personally take care of the baby. Jing can only bring the baby to work, where the DIE team takes turns looking after it, creating endless humor...

Heng, in an attempt to quickly get rid of difficulties, overworks everyone and intentionally splits DIE, forcing Lang and Jing to lead separate teams to compete in solving cases. Initially, Lang and Jing just focus on their respective duties, but Lang, relying on his psychic abilities, continuously solves cases, putting his team far ahead in performance... Meanwhile, Jing inadvertently discovers that the baby seems to have inherited Lang's traits, possessing incredible supernatural abilities that often predict answers to certain events, helping Jing make correct decisions and repeatedly escape danger. Doubtful yet hesitant to inform Lang, Jing secretly uses the baby's abilities to assist in investigations, impressing others. However, Lang eventually finds out and strongly opposes Jing's abuse of the baby's abilities, fearing it may negatively impact the baby's growth. Tensions arise between Lang and Jing. At this time, Lang reunites with his first love, Wen Chuchu, and works hard to help clear her of murder charges, making Jing extremely jealous and leading to a cold war between the couple... Unexpectedly, Xiao Yi reappears, but this Xiao Yi is not the real one... Lang, possibly thinking about Xiao Yi all day, dreams of her. In the dream, Xiao Yi warns Lang of a shocking prophecy: the life-and-death destiny between Lang and Jing is still unresolved. Although Jing giving birth to their child temporarily avoided disaster, as the child grows older, misfortune will return, and Jing will face mortal danger once again. Just as Lang is half-believing this, Zhen Xiangrong, the main villain from the previous series, reappears before Lang and Jing... It turns out that this person is actually Zhen Xianghua, Zhen Xiangrong's twin brother, who has been secretly hospitalized in a foreign psychiatric hospital due to mental issues. He has returned to enact his revenge plan...

As for Qing, seeing Lang and Jing marry and continue the family line, she feels it's time to pursue her own ideals and studies abroad alone. Yi initially doesn't take it seriously, waiting for Qing to return after finishing her studies and getting married. However, he doesn't realize that their relationship is already in crisis... Since Qing left Hong Kong, the business of Yiexianqian has relied solely on Mei and Pei's hard work. When Pei encounters difficulties at work, she seeks help from Yi. Yi, considering himself a co-owner of Yiexianqian, repeatedly helps despite feeling aggrieved. Through this, Pei recognizes Yi's kindness, positivity, and optimism, greatly appreciating him and becoming good friends. As time passes, Qing living abroad feels a change in her life goals and secretly reveals her intentions to Lang and Jing, hoping they will persuade Yi not to wait for her anymore... This matter is accidentally discovered by Pei, who feels it's unfair for Yi and can't bear to see him continue preparing for an impossible wedding. Thus, Pei teaches Yi various romantic methods to express his feelings to Qing abroad, hoping Yi can salvage this promising relationship...
