Overview of "The Woman of the Sun":
"The Woman of the Sun" tells a story of love and hatred between two sisters who are not related by blood. Through the portrayal of the sisters' love, hate, desires, revenge, and gratitude, it reveals the most primitive and genuine aspects of human nature. One is the sun in the desert, and the other is the warm spring sunshine. The two men caught between them find it hard to choose.
Love can make a woman brave, but jealousy can make a person dark and extreme inside. Those who receive love turn it into sunshine and warmth, nurturing their growth. But those who don't get love can only watch with envy, facing sadness and despair alone with strength.
Du-yeong and Sa-wol grew up together as sisters without any blood relation. Due to Du-yeong's scheming, Sa-wol loses her happy life, while Du-yeong hides her unspeakable past deep within herself. She grows up in people's admiration and becomes a well-known female anchor in South Korea.
