Plot Introduction of Part III of Major Case Squad 3:

Three years ago, a violent gang that had clashed with the Major Case Squad was found to have one member still at large. Recently, Liu Zhi, the escaped member, was found dead in his home. Coincidentally, Wang Xemin, the younger brother of the gang leader, was also present at the scene and became a suspect, but there was no solid evidence against him.

With the case shrouded in mystery, Zheng Yimin, the former head of the Major Case Squad now promoted to Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Brigade, invites Ji Jie back from her position in the Branch Bureau's Pre-trial Department to participate in the investigation.
