Plot Introduction of "The Enemy is in Action":

The story takes place in 1951, shortly after the founding of New China, when a series of terrifying incidents occurred in a small city in southwest China. A key figure died and became a red spot corpse. Public security officer Lu Fei began a difficult investigation... Clearly, this kind of anti-spy drama is not without its eerie and terrifying atmosphere. The lead actors Liu Xiaofeng and Wang Wu mentioned that they were scared several times while filming, such as running wildly in the graveyard on a moonless night, or hearing intermittent dripping water sounds in an old house at midnight... which often made people feel terrified. However, Liu Xiaofeng stated that being spooky and mysterious is just a small aspect of the entire show; it's more like an intelligence game. "For an anti-spy drama to be interesting, it's not just about us acting while the audience watches, but rather as we act, the audience guesses along with us. The character I play is more like a detective like Wei Si Li (Nathan). He is constantly analyzing problems and reasoning through cases, unraveling them bit by bit, leading the audience to solve the mystery. This show is actually a multiple-choice question; everyone around seems to be the enemy, but having a corpse doesn't necessarily mean that person is dead, and someone who appears to have done bad things isn't necessarily a bad person."
