The game begins.

Lin Qiming (played by Li Guoye), a youth baseball player who has always been independent and lacks team spirit, once again succumbs to personal heroism during the final championship game, causing his team to lose. As a result, he is shunned by his peers and becomes a public enemy in his hometown, even getting pelted with eggs. He then quietly goes off to serve in the military. While in service, he saves a recruit from being bullied, and ends up becoming a deserter along with that recruit under confusing circumstances.

Qiming, the disheveled deserter, jumps onto a mountain-bound train where he meets Xiao Wu (played by Ke Jiayen), a princess from Taipei dressed in glamorous attire. Afraid of being recognized, Qiming tries to keep a low profile, while Xiao Wu, on her first solo trip, is also nervous. Along the way, Xiao Wu assumes Qiming is a bad person, while Qiming thinks Xiao Wu has uncovered his secret. Despite their attempts to escape from each other, they keep running into one another, leading to many tense yet hilarious misunderstandings.
