Plot Summary:

Mother Wang asks Shengtian to accompany Su Ling to seek Maoxiong's help. Shengtian agrees and they go together to beg Maoxiong. Maoxiong arrogantly ignores them, despite Shengtian and Su Ling humbling themselves greatly. Maoxiong remains unmoved and even mocks them, saying, "Why isn't the child's biological father here to show concern!" Su Ling tells Maoxiong that if he will save Tingting, she will have Da Zhong come to plead with Maoxiong!

Su Ling returns in distress. Mother Wang tries to mediate between Shengzhi and Su Ling, but Shengzhi remains unyielding and unforgiving towards Su Ling. Mother Wang asks them, "What should we do now?" Shengzhi tells Mother Wang that according to Gao Maoxiong's current stance, only Tingting's biological father, Lin Da Zhong, stepping forward can resolve this issue, and that he himself is powerless.
