"Burning Flame III", a modern TV drama produced by Television Broadcasts Limited in Hong Kong, was supervised by WONG San-wai. This series was one of the featured dramas in the 2008 and 2009 program showcases, acting as part of the "Burning Flame" series which includes "Burning Flame" and "Burning Flame II". However, it has no connection to the previous two series in terms of plot. With arrangements made by the Housing Authority, some fire and explosion scenes were filmed at the end of June 2008 within the Wong Chuk Hang Village before its clearance. Other parts were filmed on the roads near Aberdeen by the seafront and at an industrial building near Kai Tak Tunnel in To Kwa Wan.
