Episodes 06-10 Plot Summary: The weaver insists on descending to the mortal world to see the cowherd. Helpless, the Queen Mother of the West secretly casts a spell on the cowherd, making him forget about the weaver. She also sets a time limit - if the cowherd betrays the weaver's love, the weaver must return to heaven and marry Gan, who has already had his heart removed and will therefore be eternally faithful to the weaver. The weaver agrees.
