Introduction to the plot of Guanzhong Gunfire:

At the beginning of the 20th century, although the Qing Dynasty was on the verge of collapse, the dragon flag of the Qing Dynasty still fluttered on the city tower of the Shaanxi governor's office (Mancheng). Sun Yat-sen's advocacy of the "Three Principles of the People" gradually took root in people's hearts, and the revolutionary wind also blew into the soldiers of the Shaanxi New Army. The famous scholar Professor Ling and his daughter Ling Yun, along with progressives, responded to the Tongmenghui's call for "patriotism and road protection," initiating a demonstration that was brutally suppressed by the military commander of the governor's office, Zuo Shan. Professor Ling was killed by Zuo Shan.
