Under the circumstances where Mi-shil (played by Ko Hyun-jung in Episode 08) holds great power in the palace, Queen Seondeok’s husband King Jinpyeong and Lady Maya give birth to twin daughters. Princess Cheonmyeong (played by Park Yi-jin) is seen as a thorn in their side. However, for the king, giving birth to twins is considered extremely unlucky, with the omen of "the sacred bone man ends." Inevitably, King Jinpyeong has no choice but to send the younger daughter Daman away, but Mi-shil sends people secretly to pursue and kill her.
