Plot Summary of Masked Rider Decade Episode 24:
The 7th installment of the Heisei Kamen Rider series, and also the 35th-anniversary work of the birth of Kamen Rider. Since it is a commemorative work, insect designs are once again utilized. The protagonist, Tenjo Souji, transforms into Kabuto, known as the strongest rider. The story begins with Shibuya being destroyed by a falling cosmic meteorite. Seven years later, extraterrestrial creatures called WORMs appear and kill humans indiscriminately. Even with the deployment of Japan's special organization, ZECT, their efforts prove futile. Kagami Shin knows that only the developed belt can match the power of the cosmic creatures, and it falls into the hands of the calm-minded and agile Tenjo Souji, who gains control of the Kabuto Zector in its beetle form to transform into Kamen Rider Kabuto and defeat the WORMs.
Following the destruction of Shibuya seven years ago by the same cosmic meteorite that brought the WORMs, their basic form appears as green "pupae." They have a uniform appearance with hands covering their faces and can mimic the appearance, behavior, and voices of the humans they encounter, enabling them to infiltrate human society for destructive purposes. Despite ZECT's military weapons, the WORMs remain undamaged. The pupae evolve through molting into adult forms, each with distinct appearances, significantly enhancing their activity and destructive capabilities. They can perform accelerated movements beyond human perception, a phenomenon known as "CLOCK UP."
