Masked Rider Decade Episode 23 Plot:
The seventh installment of the Heisei Kamen Rider series, also marking the 35th anniversary of the birth of Kamen Rider. As a commemorative work, it once again adopts an insect motif. The protagonist, Tenjou Takeru, transforms into Kabuto, known as the strongest rider. The story begins with Shibuya being destroyed by a falling cosmic meteorite. Seven years later, extraterrestrial creatures known as WORMs appear and kill humans indiscriminately. Even the deployment of Japan's special organization, ZECT, proves futile. Member Kagami Shin knows that only the developed belt can match the power of these alien beings. It is entrusted to Tenjou Takeru, who possesses a calm mind and agile skills, granting him control over the Kabuto Zector in its beetle form, transforming into Kamen Rider Kabuto to defeat the WORMs.
Seven years ago, along with the meteorite that destroyed Shibuya, came the WORMs, whose basic form is a green "pupa." They have a uniform appearance with hands covering their faces and can mimic the appearance, behavior, and voice of any human they encounter, conducting killing and invasive activities within human society. Even ZECT's military weapons cannot harm them. When the pupa evolves and sheds its skin, it becomes an adult insect with various different appearances. Their activity and destructive capabilities are greatly enhanced, and they can perform accelerated movements beyond human perception, a phenomenon known as "CLOCK UP."
