After broadcasting the TV series "Partner - Season 7" (Wednesday at 9 PM), Asahi TV will adapt a work by popular police novelist Hidekazu Yokoyama, titled "Rinjou," into a TV drama starting in April. The adaptation of Yokoyama's works into TV dramas began in 2003 with the series "Kao," starring Seiyo Naito (age 40 at the time).

"Rinjou" is a specialized term used by police, referring to the investigation work conducted by officers at a crime scene. The protagonist of this work, Yoshiaki Kurashiki, is an outstanding coroner who arrives at the scene even before detectives to determine the cause of death and the sequence of events surrounding the case.
