One day, the grocery store owner Tian Daguí (played by Chen Jinxin) and his wife Zhong Biyu (played by Su Yuhua) discovered a huge winter melon in the deep mountains. By accident, Daguí unlocked the golden lock sealing the melon, and out came a man who claimed to be the immortal Fan Tong (played by Liao Qizhi). Seeing that Yu held the golden lock, Tong mistakenly thought she was his savior and was willing to grant their wishes as a way of repaying the favor of saving his life. However, Yu thought that Tong was a monster, and hastily fled back home with Gui.
