US Discovery of 290 Million-Year-Old Amphibian Fossil
According to reports from Science & Technology of Sina on May 23, Beijing Time, citing the American Live Science website, in 1995 in Texas, USA, a fossil of a new species of amphibian from 290 million years ago was discovered. According to the latest research, this animal resembled a frog, with a short and sturdy tail. It could walk on land, swim in ponds, prey on mayfly-like insects, and even listen to its mate's calls through unique eardrum ears.
