World's earliest photo may be 200 years old, rewriting the history of photography

A photograph of a leaf exposed on ochre-sensitive paper, as shown in the figure, is believed by experts to possibly be the world's first photograph, with a history tracing back 200 years. If the appraisal confirms this claim, the history of world photography will be rewritten. Previously, the world's first acknowledged photograph was taken by William Henry Fox Talbot in 1835.
