NASA releases first photos and videos of 'solar tsunami'

According to the American Space Network, on May 19, 2007, NASA's STEREO (Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory) twin spacecraft captured photos and videos of a "solar tsunami", a first in the history of the agency. At the time, this "giant wave" crossed through four layers of the Sun's atmosphere.
