No Direct Reading!? Hackers Discover a New Way to Crack the WII

MC has once again brought news related to the Wii hack. The news reports that two hackers have been able to run self-written code by modifying the save files of the game "Zelda". The powerful aspect of this hacking method is that it does not require a modchip. Users simply need to copy a save file of "Zelda", read it, and this code will automatically run. Through this vulnerability, it may become possible to run homebrew software on the Wii.

However, the current achievements of this work are still relatively immature. After a day of effort, this team has only written 4 lines of code so far. But the prospect of this hack is very broad. When this method matures, who will care whether your machine has a D2C chip or not?

Will the wave of homebrew software for the Wii arrive because of this?
