Around the urban area of Xinzheng stands an undulating and continuous ancient city site of dozens of miles - the ancient city of Zheng and Han, which is commonly known as the "45-li ox-horn city" in folklore. It was the administrative region of the State of Zheng during the Spring and Autumn Period and the State of Han during the Warring States Period. The two countries successively established their capitals here for a long period of 539 years, leaving behind abundant relics and artifacts. At the site of the ancient city of Zheng and Han in Gelao Cemetery Village under the jurisdiction of the newly built road street office in Xinzheng City, archaeological staff not only excavated the "refrigerator" that stored food, but also discovered the bricks used to protect environmental hygiene at that time.
