Immortality' within reach for some species, say UK experts

Xinhua News Agency report: An article on the US website Science Daily on January 17 said that for most plant and animal species, the aging process is inevitable. However, some species can live a very long time, including a tree which is recorded in the Domesday Book of Britain's land survey compiled between 1085 and 1086 and is still alive today.
