The world's most beautiful aquatic bird, the purple swamphen, spotted in Hainan [pic]

From January 10 to 13, the Wild Animal and Plant Nature Conservation Center of Hainan Provincial Forestry Bureau organized a survey on winter wetland water birds in 2008. A new record of Hainan water bird was found - purple swamphen.
