Judging People by Their Body Types
The individuality of a person is closely related to their physical build, roughly divided into three types:
(1) Overweight type: belongs to the optimist group, with an optimistic personality that values enjoyment highly. They are amiable and approachable, with a broad mind. They adapt easily to the environment and get along well with others. They have strong resistance to mental blows.
(2) Strong-limbed type: this kind of person has a strong personality, enjoys making decisions unilaterally, likes adventure, and has ambition. They excel in sports, have leadership skills, and can lead others. However, they lack prudence and often act rashly. When subjected to mental shocks, it's easy for them to develop a split personality.
(3) Slender and tall type: sensitive personality, narrow-minded, intelligent, with "self-awareness", prone to using emotions. This type is melancholic. They often suffer from insomnia, have poor physical condition, and easily become fatigued. They are very susceptible to mental blows, which can lead to negativity and pessimism. These people tend to be slightly neurotic.
Ancient people also categorized human body types according to the five elements, dividing them into five types: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.
"Wood shapes are green and slender, metal shapes are white and square, water shapes are black and plump, fire shapes are red and pointed, earth shapes are yellow and substantial." This classification emphasizes both body shape and pigmentation, offering considerable reference value.
The terms "square", "long", "round", "pointed", and "substantial" can also represent the characteristics of the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. In detail, people of metal type have upright personalities, while those of wood type have substantial personalities, symbolizing how one’s physique reflects their character traits.
1. Obese type, fatty type - choleric temperament. These people can adapt excellently to open environments around them. Most belong to active individuals who radiate warmth and do things without hesitation. Although they often try to be lazy, they are still forgiven by those around them. They are lively, sociable, good-natured, and simple.
2. Slightly lean but robust type - obsessive temperament. These people have firm beliefs, full of self-confidence. Regardless of how difficult the situation, they fight tirelessly, never giving up. However, they also have a tendency to do bad things recklessly, showing traits of authoritarianism, high pressure, distrust of others, and brutality.
3. Thin and troubled type - schizoid temperament. Among thin types, some hide their troubles and attract attention on the surface but remain inaccessible. Thin women are mostly strong-willed; when angry, they can become hysterical. Both men and women of this type usually have calm and composed personalities, but due to their complex nature, it is difficult to describe them adequately with appropriate words.
4. Physically strong type - phlegmatic temperament. Those with developed muscles, strong bones, and well-proportioned bodies are genuine phlegmatic types. They often prioritize order, value righteousness, but move slowly, talk in circles, and chatter endlessly.
5. Baby-faced immature type - hysterical temperament. These people are self-centered, strong-willed, and belong to the demonstrative personality type. They are knowledgeable, witty in conversation, but most sentences start with "I", focusing on self-expression.
6. Thin and delicate-lined type - neurotic temperament. They have a strong sensitivity to things and are very sensitive to changes in their surroundings. They notice details and flaws around them, being quiet, sincere, obedient, and lacking autonomy. Their moods change easily, and they are hard to interact with, but they keep appointments and value etiquette.
