7. Inauspicious
That which is inauspicious represents defiance, blame, poverty and hardship, and an ease of suffering criminal punishment, destruction, and failure. It often signifies perilous and malicious situations. Generally speaking, any unbalanced八字 (BaZi) chart without salvation is considered inauspicious.
- When wealth is strong but the body is weak, and there is no seal.
- When the presence of killing stars is heavy but the body is light, with no food or injury, and no seal or sash.
- When the use of officials leads to harm and there is no wealth.
- When there are many officials but the body is weak and there is no seal.
- When seals and robbers are equally heavy but there is no wealth.
- When the entire chart is filled with robbers but there are no officials or killing stars.
- When using food but there are too many owls.
- When killing stars are taboo but there is much wealth.
- When the entire chart is filled with food and injuries but there is no seal.
- When seals are favored but there is too much wealth.
- When officials are weak but the seals are heavy.
- When officials are favored but the killing stars are mixed.
- When the external chart has been formed but then broken.
Any of the above scenarios present within a八字 (BaZi) chart indicate inauspiciousness.
