[Old Title] Chess

During Chinese class, I didn't pay attention and instead planned out chess strategies in my head, writing this poem "Chess" in my textbook. Today, flipping through it, I still remember using pieces of paper as the chessboard and pieces; we even played chess during class, only for our chess sets to be confiscated by the teacher.

《Chess》

A square battlefield, four sides strong,

Full array of troops, all alike in song.

Here a pawn flies and becomes a chariot might,

There a horse leaps, an elephant moves to fight.

The advisor and cannon aim true at the general's sight,

Alas, the commander has fallen, what a plight.
