This series of images is an advertisement for the FABER-CASTELL company.

Faber-Castell is one of the world's earliest writing instrument companies, founded in 1761, and is one of Europe's oldest industrial enterprises with a long history.

For more than 200 years, it has been managed and operated by its family. The fourth-generation manager, Baron Lothar von Faber, invented the first pencil with a world-renowned brand, thus making the brand famous worldwide. Currently, the Faber Group, managed by the eighth generation of the family, owns thirteen production bases, seventeen sales companies spread across the globe, and over a hundred national and regional sales agencies around the world, with a total number of employees exceeding 5,500.

This series of creative works is very concise, but what it expresses is crystal clear. Creativity stems from thought, yet still needs to rely on sketches for expression. But sketches need pencils to be realized, and when new creative ideas suddenly appear while drawing, that’s when erasers come into play.

In this series of creativity, the role of the eraser seems even greater than the pencil. Progress in creativity leads to progress in products. Thanks to pencils and erasers, corded phones have evolved into cordless ones, and CRT monitors have transformed into LCD displays. More proudly, due to these tools, the evolution of one-piece swimsuits has given ladies more chances to show off their belly buttons, providing us with more visual enjoyment!
