Album Preview —— John Mayer

After releasing a live album last year, John Mayer has finally released his first studio album in three years, *Continuum*. In its first week of release, *Continuum* debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart with 300,000 copies sold in its debut week. Mayer's previous studio album was 2003's *Heavier Things*, which topped the Billboard 200 album chart upon its release, selling 317,000 copies in its first week. Although it came in second place on this week's Billboard 200 album chart, *Continuum* claimed the top spot on both this week's Top Rock Albums chart and the Top Internet Albums chart.
