It was a matter of fate that I came across this album; just an ordinary Tuesday and an ordinary person, yet it brought me such beautiful music. On October 30th, the Eagles globally released their new album "Long Road Out of Eden," 28 years in the making, with quality that only gets better with age. I'm not a die-hard fan of the Eagles; aside from a few well-known songs like "Hotel California," I don't know much else about them. I don't know what those 28 years meant to the Eagles, or how much they meant, but I found myself deeply moved by the emotions expressed in the album. In his sixties, Henry is still rocking, but without going overboard. The songs talk about reality, the self, and life in a gentle narrative style, without a trace of coldness or cynicism. The entire album's sophistication lies in its perfect grasp of emotion, never feeling forced or overly sentimental, touching the heart through natural expression. This reminds me of Zheng Jun's new album "Chang'an Chang'an." After listening to it, all I could think was, Zheng Jun has grown old... Now, thinking back, maybe it's because he's not old enough, haha.

I went to several music stores but couldn't find it. The domestic market's response speed is really slow... Finally, I found a download source online, so I'll just listen to it for now.
