Synopsis: Beth (Kristen Bell), a young modern art curator at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, is a workaholic who disapproves of her sister's impulsive marriage based on love at first sight. Nevertheless, she makes time to fly to Rome, Italy, for the wedding. At the ceremony, Beth falls for Nicholas (Josh Duhamel), a former football player, only to see him kissing another woman at an ancient love fountain. Disappointed and drunk, Beth jumps into the fountain, berating the statue of the god of love and picks up three coins and a casino chip that others had thrown in, bringing them back to the United States. Unexpectedly, the old Italian legend comes true as the men whose coins Beth picked up start pursuing her aggressively. Meanwhile, Beth has to handle the pressure from her boss, Saliste (Anjelica Huston), to ensure the success of the museum’s annual fundraising gala. It's Nicholas who comes to her rescue in the nick of time. Just as Beth begins falling happily in love, she realizes that the casino chip she picked up from the fountain belongs to Nicholas. Is it real love or fake affection? Beth is torn with anguish...
