Synopsis:

Alice (Mia Wasikowska) has been haunted by the same nightmare until a gathering she attended on her 20th birthday. What she thought would be an utterly dull party turned out to be a meticulously planned proposal. Faced with an unexpected marriage proposal from the pampered young man Hamish, Alice was genuinely startled. Drawn by a rabbit wearing a waistcoat, Alice chased it and fell into a bottomless tree hole, arriving at an incredible "underground world" akin to a fairyland. At this point, the benevolent inhabitants of the underground world seemed to be eagerly awaiting her arrival, but she believed it was just a dream, wishing only to wake up and return to reality. However, after meeting the eccentric Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), Alice learned that the underground world was under the bloody rule of the "Queen of Hearts" (Helena Bonham Carter). According to the prophecy of the "Royal Almanac," only she could help the "White Queen" (Anne Hathaway) defeat the "Queen of Hearts" and restore harmony and peace to the underground world...

This Disney 3D stereoscopic film is directed by the fantastical master Tim Burton, who has given us countless surprises. It draws its inspiration from the famous British fairy tale writer Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass."
