Casey prepared the popcorn and rented horror movie videotapes, hoping to enjoy a night of being scared while her parents were away. At this moment, the phone rang, but instead of a normal call, a stranger made her truly terrified because he knew her every move, even killing her boyfriend right in front of her. In the end, she couldn't escape her own fate either.
Next, Casey's classmate Sidney (played by Neve Campbell) also received threatening calls. Sidney's mother was mysteriously killed a year ago, and Sidney had mistakenly accused someone else due to the murderer's manipulation, allowing the real killer to remain at large. The gossip reporter Gale insisted that Sidney had pointed the finger at the wrong person and was determined to find the real killer. This murderer used all the formulas from horror movies and played a deadly game. Although Sidney narrowly escaped death, the murderer wouldn't stop and even chased her to school, killing the principal. Sidney's friends didn't take this terrifying game seriously and decided to throw a wild party. Unbeknownst to them, the murderer also decided to join the fun and let everyone experience the joy of screaming. After countless killings, Sidney finally realized that the real murderers were her boyfriend Billy and his friend Stu. With Gale's help, she eventually defeated the murderers.
The director of "Scream," Wes Craven, is also the original creator of "A Nightmare on Elm Street." He set the standard for horror films with the "Nightmare" series, and using human fear as the subject of his films is one of his specialties. At the same time, "Scream" further convinced him that horror films can create iconic characters and delve into the psychological aspects of humans because the characters in the film face our deepest fears.
Because of its cleverly designed horror plot, "Scream" caused a huge stir after its release in the United States. Not only did professional critics give it high praise, but general audiences watching the film in theaters also experienced the true joy of screaming. As a result, "Scream" ranked among the top ten box office hits for nine consecutive weeks in the U.S., and there was certainly a reason for it.

Introduction:
This sequel is even more thrilling, with more murder scenes and harder-to-guess killers. It starts with the survivors from the first film entering Windsor College in the American Midwest. After going through a series of horrifying murders, the protagonist Sidney (played by Neve Campbell) becomes stronger, smarter, and more mature. But this nightmare hasn't ended yet. When a movie called "Stab" based on the best-selling book by gossip journalist Gale (played by Courteney Cox) is released, the peaceful campus begins to experience a series of terrifying murders again. The book "Stab" describes the real-life serial murders that occurred in Woodboro town. Not only did the book top the bestseller list, but it also led to the release of the person wrongly accused by Sidney of killing her mother. Now, a crazed killer once again terrifies Sidney and her friends.

The film begins with Caden, who has always wanted to be famous, now becoming a well-known Hollywood star. After receiving a call from a killer capable of mimicking women's voices, he and his girlfriend are murdered. A young Hollywood director wants to make a movie about the story that happened to Sidney in the previous film, and Caden was one of the actors he chose... Before filming began, another actress was killed at the studio after work. Soon, Sidney receives a call from the killer pretending to be her deceased mother, setting the stage for the story. Upon learning about the deaths of the previous individuals, Sidney returns to Los Angeles, reuniting with Dewey and Gale, as the bloody killings surrounding them begin anew...
