Synopsis:

Derek Thompson (played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), a burly and aggressive professional ice hockey player, has earned the nickname "Tooth Fairy" on the rink due to his frequent tooth-extraction antics during games. As times change and new talents emerge, Derek finds himself relegated to the bench, his once-glorious career now fading into obscurity. His arrogant demeanor only exacerbates his feelings of loss and frustration, leading him to crush others' dreams with icy words.

Derek's girlfriend, Carly (Ashley Judd), has two adorable children, one of whom is at the age where she is losing her baby teeth and eagerly awaits visits from the mythical Tooth Fairy. Derek, however, reverts to his old habits, determined to tell the young girl that the Tooth Fairy doesn't exist. His brash approach incurs trouble when Lily (Julie Andrews), the head administrator of the Tooth Fairy realm, transforms him into a fully-fledged fairy complete with wings, a wand, and a short skirt. For the next two weeks, Derek must fulfill his duties as a Tooth Fairy, bringing joy and blessings to children in this unexpected guise...
