Synopsis:

Set in the 1930s at a strict British all-girls religious boarding school where conformity is enforced and any signs of decadence or negativity are forbidden. The swimming instructor, Miss G (Eva Green), stands out as a free-spirited and open-minded individual who encourages her students to pursue their desires. She captivates the girls with her charm. Soon, Fermá Coroná (María Valverde), a noble young woman from Spain, transfers to the school. Her elegant and kind nature quickly wins over the hearts of the girls, including Miss G, who finds herself drawn to this high-born yet independent thinker. However, Fermá's actions begin to confuse and conflict with Miss G's ideals, and Di Lasfield (Juno Temple), once the center of attention, becomes envious...
