Synopsis:

An unusual international team created this adventure action movie. The screenplay was written by Japanese master Akira Kurosawa, directed by Russian Andrei Konchalovsky, and starring American actors Jon Voight, Eric Roberts, and Rebecca De Mornay, with filming taking place in the icy landscapes of Canada. The story describes a prison in the northwest of the United States where a severely tortured repeat offender Manny decides to escape. An almost-served sentence prisoner Beck is also dragged into the escape plan, boarding a freight train bound for Alaska. When they think their mission is accomplished, the train unexpectedly derails and hurtles towards an inevitable crash ending.
