Synopsis:

Harry Brown is a retired Royal Navy officer. Due to the early death of his wife and his children having grown up and leading their own lives, the over-70-year-old Brown lives alone in his small apartment. As he resides near a slum area, there are constant street brawls, drug deals, and prostitution around him.

The unburdened Brown has a close friend named Leonard, whom he's known for decades. Because of their similar experiences in later life, they formed a deep friendship. One day, Leonard was murdered while trying to stop a street fight. Due to the incompetence of the British police, Leonard's killer went unpunished under the law. Consequently, the aging Brown decided to take matters into his own hands and eliminate the murderer of his friend.

Can the now elderly Brown recreate the bravery he once displayed on the battlefield? Can he find the murderer and avenge his friend?
