Synopsis:

An armed four-man special forces unit is dispatched to the site of an incident under the guidance of Dr. Owen (Jonathan Mellor), who claims to be an official from the Health Department. They enter an apartment building that has been quarantined due to infection. Shortly after the operation begins, one of the team members, Matos (Alejandro Casaseca), is attacked and infected. Captain Palo (Juli Fàbregas) senses something strange and finally learns the truth of the situation from Owen. On the other hand, three teenagers, driven by curiosity, also sneak into the apartment. They experience a series of terrifying scenes and pay a heavy price. Meanwhile, the special forces unit encounters Angela (Manuela Velasco), the female journalist who survived from the first movie, unaware that the hand of death has already reached out to them...

This film is the sequel to "REC" and won several awards at the 2010 Goya Awards, including Best Editing, Best Sound, Best Special Effects, and Best Visual Effects.
