"Three Kingdoms: Unarmored Dragon" presents a different side of the Three Kingdoms.

The film will depict via gorgeous imagery the process of Zhao Zilong, at over 80 years old, leading the sons of Zhang Fei and Guan Yu to begin a northern expedition to accomplish the great cause of the Three Kingdoms unification that Liu Bei did not live to see. Through a span of more than 60 years, the film time travels back and forth while showcasing famous battles from the Three Kingdoms period such as the Battle of Red Cliffs and the Battle of Changban through Zhao Zilong's recollections.
