In the forest, Horton, the天真 and lovely little elephant (voiced by Jim Carrey) enjoys a carefree life every day happily. But one day, an astonishing discovery completely changes its life, as well as its image of cuteness in the eyes of all the animals.
On a tiny speck of dust, the residents of "Whoville" live peacefully. One day, they are hit by a fruit and their entire "small world" is thrown into the sky, eventually landing on a pink clover flower. The tiny cries for help from this "tiny world" are surprisingly heard by the stout elephant Horton. Thus, Horton firmly believes that there is life on this "little speck of dust" and communicates amusingly with the "Mayor" of Whoville (voiced by Steve Carell) in his own way. To save the tiny residents of this speck of dust, Horton decides to endure being ridiculed by all the animals and bear the stigma of being a "hallucinator" as he sends Whoville back to their rightful world...
However, Horton's rescue journey is not without obstacles: treacherous geography and evil vultures... continuously adding weight to the dangers of his adventurous journey...
